We send a locksmith, cover the door opening and a temporary lock.
Temporary securing
Costs for emergency locks and securing your home after a break-in or storm.
Blocked drain
For unexpected blockages we arrange the unblocking and pay for immediate measures your property manager doesn't cover.
Pests and nests
Referral to a specialist firm and costs for pest control or removing wasp, hornet and bee nests.
Lost payment cards
We connect you with your bank's or card issuer's blocking hotline – bank cards, credit cards, customer cards.
How to use HomeAssistance

Call
Dial 0844 444 888 and choose 'Assist'. Have your name or contract number ready.

We arrange
We refer regionally based, vetted professionals and coordinate the call-out.

We pay
Up to CHF 1,000 per event we cover the costs directly, no excess.

Inform your manager
Tell your property manager afterwards – or beforehand, if they are reachable and the repair is their responsibility.
When to call the property manager, when HomeAssistance?
Repairs to the flat are generally the job of your property manager or landlord. HomeAssistance is there for the moment when nobody can be reached: at night, at weekends, on public holidays – or when you've lost payment cards. As soon as your manager is reachable and agrees, you use Assist for organising and paying for immediate measures.
